What is TimeGauge?

What can TimeGauge track?

It tracks work sessions, the current hour, a customizable day, week, month, year, life progress, deadlines, custom date ranges, and Pomodoro sessions.

Does TimeGauge include a Pomodoro timer?

Yes. Choose 15, 25, 45, or 60 minutes, follow the live countdown, start or stop from the menu, and optionally play a sound when focus ends.

Can I customize what appears in the menu bar?

Yes. Choose from five timer styles: bar only, percentage only, bar plus percentage, bar plus name, or bar plus name and percentage. Work hours can show duration, duration and target, or a progress bar with duration.

Does the app collect personal data?

No. The app requires no account and stores timer settings, work sessions, and optional session notes locally on your Mac. It does not include analytics or transmit that data. This website uses Google Analytics for basic site traffic measurement, as explained in the privacy policy.

Is TimeGauge a subscription?

No. The direct download is a one-time $5.99 purchase through Polar. The Mac App Store displays your region’s current price.
